Julia K. Goodwin

Julia K. Goodwin is a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a proud graduate of Northside High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of the Ozarks (now University of the Ozarks) in Clarksville, Arkansas, in 1986, and later obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas William H. Bowen School of Law in 1991.

Following her graduation from law school, Julia was admitted to practice before the Arkansas Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Over the course of her legal career, she has developed extensive experience in Employment Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, and Eminent Domain. Her diverse legal background brings a broad and practical perspective that complements the work and mission of Hosto & Cardis, PLLC.

In addition to her legal practice, Julia has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to public service and community outreach. She was recognized with a Point of Light Award through the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Foundation and received the President's Volunteer Service Award in recognition of ten years of pro bono service to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Arkansas).

Julia also remains actively involved in faith-based and charitable organizations. She serves on the board of Salt & Light Outreach Ministries in Port Charlotte, Florida, an international Christ-centered ministry, and contributes weekly to Prayer Warrior Warriors Plugin Church Ministries. In Arkansas, she participates in Forever Free Ministries at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock and is a member of Monnie Springs Assembly of God in Roland.
